Day 1: Siem Reap, Angkor Wat - On arrival transfer to your hotel. Begin your tour with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon, Baphoun, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon visit the magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat. 

Day 2: Siem Reap, Angkor Temples - An early start to catch the sunrise (optional). Visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers and Preah Khan. In the afternoon visit the amazing temples of Banteay Srei and Banteay Sam Rei. 

Day 3: Siem Reap off the beaten track - After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Boeung Melea, a sprawling jungle temple largely overrun by vegetation. Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style, Boeng Melea preceded and may have served as a prototype of sorts for Angkor Wat. Continue driving to Koh Kher. 

Day 4: Lake, Monks & Balloon Ride - After breakfast visit a local village and embark on a local boat for a cruise on the great Lake, Tonle Sap. Take a walk through Wat Svay village. In the afternoon, visit a pagoda and receive the monks blessings and learn more about their role in Cambodian society. Continue to the women's sewing centre, before catching the ballon ride to view Angkor temples and Siem reap city.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
